Don’t let entrepreneurial passion BLIND you
After all my talk about needing to find something to be passionate about yesterday, I just finished reading a article about exactly the opposite – not letting your passion blind you in your entrepreneurial adventures.
It’s well worth a read, and having started a few businesses myself, and having invested lots of time in web app ideas, I think what Daniel talks about is exactly true to a large extent. I think that for me, the take outs are not that you can’t be passionate about wanting to leave the rat race, but that you can’t afford to let passion dictate which business ideas you follow. It’s a hard lesson to learn, but when I think about the amount of time it takes to implement even a single business this philosophy makes definite sense.
The article is titled “The Danger of Entrepreneurial Passion” and is written by Daniel Isenberg
